First CACHE Centre in Africa holds Open Day
Furthering their success in gaining recognition for their Centre, Maryam and Maggie decided to hold an Open Day to give information to schools in the area.
"The day was a great success and we were able to see the level of interest from several schools; we had lots of interest from the larger international schools and we anticipate a little more buy-in from more schools once we have established the first few programmes."
"We were able to order information brochures from cachezone for each of the courses that we are hoping to deliver."
A short presentation was given about CACHE and the qualifications and how relevant they will be for both early years and also primary settings.
We were also able to communicate with Maggie via Skype to demonstrate that the input, assessment and quality assurance would not only be from Nigeria, but also the UK.
"The level of interest and enthusiasm was high and we also plan to hold an additional open day in Abuja as well as one in Kaduna."
